I am so happy about the rain right now. For the first time all summer I am home alone, not traveling immediately at 19:00 LOL on a Friday, and falling asleep on the couch. It is only "Five PM". I love it. Tomorrow morning Geneva flea market, Sunday potentially some major hiking, and then my sister meets me in Paris on Monday!
Eight day reunion party in France and Spain!

I met this man who said he feels "of nowhere" (and wouldn't want it any other way), and he offhandedly gave me the best ever advice: "Move". The way he tagged it onto the end of a conversation, I could tell that he didn't merely mean that I should travel or live in a variety of places or avoid getting comfortable. It was more like a blanket statement, something vague for me to apply to everything, and I love it.

-Met mystic from Peru atop a mountain who let me blow into a giant conch shell
-Rome in a day
-What the hell am I going to come home to

-Actually purchased Wilco's Wilco: I have a cover and case and a little booklet!
-Weirdly bought some rose water, drank it, weirdly loved it
-Slept in a renovated barn with a church belltower in the front yard
-Wanting a puppy, what else is new?

whoa can't believe life right now

I was here today. I am straight hyper right now! I was so excited when I got lost that I felt floaty and ran! Because it was so pretty, where I ended up, and I would not have seen it had I not the good fortune to get lost. cool how my battery charged camera ran out before halfway to this summit, therefore forcing me to use someone else's picture.
But I got a video! Always the bright side.

BUT THERE IS NO BRIGHT SIDE TO THE GERMAN LANGUAGE!

And on the descent trail, I had to ask some goats if they would please scoot over a bit because they were chillin sunbathin right in the path. And they gave me dirty looks. The kings and queens and lords of animals were grazing on this mountain. I hope they live long.

The Switzerland ones are also from when I first arrived. But still, I miss it for obvious reasons and because it was in an apt with my gurl...tonight was my night to stay in so that after the kids fell asleep, the parents could ride bikes down to the lake and get drinks. After they left, I quickly changed and called my sister. Then five minutes later, they opened the door and they're all, change of plans and I'm all, kool I'm in my undies/knickers...ugh
