Today I saw a bike spray-painted entirely gold as well as a girl walking down Franklin, wearing a Slytherin jersey..... I think the good of today outweighs the bad

Emily Osment Interview
http://www.teen.com/channels/movie/index.vm?vid=E1SNpo9sfpJa__qdGQ_8Rxzi1fEHz_NM

A video on what Emily has to say about her relationship with Miley and Mitchel. At first when she speaks the Liley fan in me just has to squee, but she says some pretty wonderful things about Mitchel as well. Including that he's "funny and love[s] that kid". I was so glad to see her talk about her and Miley's relationship though. I love the way she refers to the tift that they had in the beginning and how the recently have become the best of friends.

<3 that she said tift. Lilly/ Liley is a character on the Hannah Montana Disney show.

daily life

- I think that I do that thing that OCD people do where they wash their hands until they get raw with my hair. That sentence sucked but I don't feel like editing right now. I just took a 2 hour shower. I only shower every other day but when I do I get weird. I feel for suds once I step out and then I get back in and keep showering.

- I thought that A Separate Peace by John Knowles was supposed to be sort of a classic? It is falling short of my expectations right now, and I haven't read since Spring Break =(

- Found a girl to sublet today!

-h8 one psychology test and one exam, and one paper right now.

I'm in the language lab watching this French movie for class. It is called Ma Vie en Rose ( not La Vie avec Edith Piaf) and it's about this little boy who really really wants to be a girl. Everyone is mean to him and I want to cry.

^Ludovic, jus doin what feels right

lol @ 4/20

Dreamt I made hundreds of weed cookies and brought them to school. Everyone was really stoked on it until two infants ate one each and died. LOL marijuana overdose. Don't think it would kill even a baby...I really have no idea though. Anyways, only the students knew that the cookies had been laced, so no one in charge knew how the babies had died. I felt pretty bad.

Sublet my apartment May-July

Only seven days left of classes. Finals won't be too bad, since I'm sure I will study in the library for stupid amounts of time. I just figured out my ideal schedule for next semester. I will have all classes Tuesday-Thursday. Four day weekend every week <3

Also I just watched the new Harry Potter trailer and got so hype. Feeling weird that Cedric Diggory was just on the cover of GQ, though.
I have yet to see Twilight. Imagine starting your career as a wizard and vampire- fun, but I wonder if he has inadvertently typecast himself?
Anyway, I think he is pretty beautiful.

I luv this:

I feel like this

On Sunday, February 15th, 2009, I wrote, "I WANT MY FUCKING PAYCHECK and i'll get it".
For the record, I got it. Told ya so. Feeling triumphant.

Friday, April 10

All before noon...

Best weather, nose-pickers are the funniest, my mom now uses Twitter, class was cancelled, and I found my favorite shorts!

Thursday, April 9

Today was dabomb.com

Optimal weather. I love Richmond in the Spring. Spent the whole day riding my bike and sitting outside. Then Mom picked me up, and we went to Carytown so that we could eat dinner outside. We ended up at Mezzanine and got a parking spot right in front! I was sort of surprised to hear that Mezzanine was named Style Weekly's best restaurant of 2009, but probaby just because it's relatively new and because I had not heard a lot about it. Outside the setup was so cute- pillows, candles, ya know. My aunt Jill/mom's sis just happened to be there with some friends, sitting outside. One of Jill's friends was pregz, and I just love to see that; she had that glow going. Awww.....

Anyway, talked to mom about Strawberry Hill this weekend, what she should wear, and my Switzerland prospects. I ordered the curry quinoa with mushrooms and gingered bok choy and it was soooooooo good. Mom loved her meal, too, and this girl's cowboy boots. Girl sat down next to us and Mom asked if she could borrow the boots. Then we talked to the girl and her husband about Facebook and Twitter and she told my mom to go to DSW- she'd purchased the boots this week, on sale! We left straight from Mezzanine to the Broad Street DSW.

Even though it seems kind of spoiled that Mom can have everything she wants so readily, it makes me proud that my mom has worked hard enough to support and even pamper herself. She's so independent and capable. It was also sweet that she unexpectedly agreed to buy some shoes for me!!! They are Steve Madden black flats, sort of slingbacks, exactly the type I have been wanting.
BUT I'M NOT DONE.
Nice weather, a great meal, new shoes......could happen to anyone.

BUT: when we arrived at home, our regular mail awaited us. A bill or two, circulars, stuff from Virginia Blood Service, Virginia Press Women, etc. AND a letter from Riverside Regional Jail, Shondrell ***** #4---- to Charles *******, 2 W. Grace St. I'm not sure why it came to us, but I had to open it. I mean, we are still going to send it on, but intense and, in my opinion, natural curiosity overrode my conscience and morally motivated hesitance. Had to know.
Basically Shondrell didn't know what the hell happened to Chuck, and she misses and loves him. She is getting herself together- "NO MORE CRACK. THATS WHAT I KEEP TELLING MYSELF. THATS WHY I DIDNT BOND OUT, OR SHOULD I SAY MY MAMA DIDNT BOND ME OUT" (she wrote the whole thing in all caps and with pretty excellent spelling, though never any apostrophes with her contractions....can't be picky, I guess.) There were more personal parts of the letter, too; however, while I felt okay satisfying my personal curiosity, I now feel sorta bad about writing about it in a public medium.

Also, I got my state tax check today.

TODAY RULED.

Tuesday, April 7

Oh Right...

Of course it's the seventh. It's so fucking weird that I always dream
about Andrew on the 7th before having consciously noticed the date.
If this had only happened once, or if he was in my dreams
frequently, this wouldn't be so freaky.

This is freaky.

This morning

I had the weirdest dreams with Andrew in them. They were the first ones where he was a normal character, not tragic or dying or dead. In one of the dreams that I can recall, I had a crush on him again and he and some of my oldest elementary school friends were playing soccer. I would pass him the ball if it went out of bounds. The dream is hazy but had the feel of recess with its carefree play mentality and weird social niches. I did not talk to Andrew at all as far as I can recall; I was off on the edge of the yard playing with girls who I haven't been close with since about 6th grade, nor seen in at least a year.

There was another section of the dream where my sister, mom, and I were moving to a beautiful new house with a backyard that was perfect- besides the areas closest to the house, which were infested with so many scary insects! I am not at all scared of bees, wasps and the like, but there were soooo many, and scorpions! I got stung a bunch.
Then inside, there was some strange inspirational moment where my sister (who has never been into basketball) complained that she had never been able to make a basket and I said I had never been able to do a backhand-spring, and then Nicole stood up and threw a flawless backhand-spring. Then so did my mother and I. Then we said it was a miracle and all cried dramatically.

PSYC-492-004

Seen and heard on April Fool's Day:

Mrs. Kuznetsova (in a very exaggerated Russian accent) Okay, I have passed out a sheet with dates for each group. If these dates do not work for you guys, we can work something out.

Girl: Um, yeah, I got a problem with the April 22nd for Peter Paul; my baby's due on the 21st.

She was not foolin. I think it was a good excuse.

Thanks to the recent improvement in our weather, today I saw one classmate in flip-flops for the first time. She is in Tri Sig. Covering the top of her whole left foot is a "Live, Laugh, Love" tattoo which was dangling in my direction for the entire fifty minute class. The letters are in black script surrounded by 5 or 6 snazzy pink starz.

She was not foolin.
