I never blog. I only read now.
I want to recommend Island by Aldous Huxley. You can borrow it from me if you like! It's sort of plotless in the sense that you know what the ending will be by around page 75, but that didn't bother me a bit. It's a 350 page glimpse of how paradise would run. Inspiring and therefore a pretty quick read... I'll be reading all of his work! This was his last book, so I suppose I'll be working backwards.

I also have read a lot of Bukowski because that's what's on our bookshelf. I'm not that impressed....I mean his characters are pretty fascinating, the interactions and situations grab me and I finish the books quickly, but I think it's for all the wrong reasons. The characters' lives are just so awful that you can't look away. I guess different books can be meant for different purposes.

Suggestions for my summer reading list?
